The rail services between the Port of Tauranga and Auckland Metroport will shut down from 00:01 Thursday 20 October through to 00:01 Tuesday 25 October.
The shutdown of services is due to phase 2 of the maintenance/upgrade on the rail network that took place earlier this year.
Thursday – All Services Cancelled
Friday – All Services Cancelled
Saturday – All Services Cancelled
Sunday – All Services Cancelled
Monday – All Services Cancelled
There will be an additional 3 trains per week once services are returned from Tuesday 25th of October to alleviate the backlog as soon as possible. Additionally, cargo can be arranged to be collected from the port of Tauranga at the importers’ expense.
